Myelopathy is a condition, caused by excessive pressure on the spinal cord. The pressure can be external from a disc bulge, overgrown bone or a tumor. Your spinal cord is the main nerve pathway between your brain and your body. Pressure on it can cause problems throughout your body depending on the location of compression.
