Glioma

Gliomas are a collection of tumors that develop in the brain from glial cells. They are categorized as either low or high grade tumors. Depending on the specific type of cell they originate from, they may be classified as astrocytomas, oligodendrogliomas, or glioblastoma multiforme. Additionally, certain gliomas can also manifest in the spinal cord.
