Cervical corpectomy

A corpectomy is a procedure which involves removal of a single or multiple spinal bones which are causing compression on the spinal cord. It can relieve symptoms of myelopathy and radiculopathy. The degenerated bone and discs are replaced by titanium or PEEK cages.

This surgery relieves pressure on the spinal cord and the spinal nerves. It involves the removal of bone and discs from your cervical spine, followed by a fusion.
